Are there any set-up charges?

No.  We have no set-up charges, ever!

How do I pay?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal.

How long till I receive my Tattoos?

3 to 4 weeks, usually sooner than later.

What shipping methods are available?

We ship via Canada Post.

How are temporary tattoos applied?

Remove the clear plastic shield,  place the image side on skin, place a wet towel, paper towel or sponge to the back side of the tattoo for 30 seconds.  Slowly remove the paper backing from skin.  Allow the temporary tattoo to dry before touching or covering with clothing.

How are temporary tattoos removed?

Remove temporary tattoos with tape, mineral oil or baby oil.  The tattoos are resistant to water and most soaps.

How long will the tattoos last on skin?

Temporary tattoos can last from one day to a week depending on water and chemical exposure or abrasions.

If the size I want is not on your price list can it be made?

Yes.  E-mail us with your size requirement and we will quote you a price.

How many colors can I use?

As many as you want.  White ink can be added at no additional charge.  All inks are FDA regulated and are different from inks used for printing on regular paper.

Can I have fluorescent or Day-Glo colors in my tattoo?

No.  Your safety is our #1 priority.  Fluorescent or Day-Glo colors are not available due to FDA regulation.  Only non-toxic inks containing pigments that are certified by the FDA for use in cosmetics are used in our tattoos.

What if I have white on my original logo and do not want it on my tattoo?

When the color white is present in artwork the tattoo is produced without white ink.  The white areas will show as clear on the skin thus making the area skin color.  If you require white you must inform us at the time of order, there is no charge for white.

What formats do you accept artwork?

Our artists work with the latest vector based graphics programs like Adobe Illustrator and Coral Draw for PC. Although we can work with Mac files, we would prefer you send any attachments for PC.

The following are the file formats our artists would prefer:

.ai .eps .cdr .tiff .jpg (high resolution) .gif .pdf (high resolution)

What is on the reverse side of the cardboard backing of the tattoo?

The required directions for applying the tattoo, the ingredients and the distributed by information.

Can I have any information on the reverse side of the cardboard backing?

Yes.  On orders of 5,000 tattoos or more of one design we will supply a one color (black) imprint of your copyright information and any other copy, logo or coupon that you require as well as the required directions, distributed by information and ingredients for an additional $25.00.

What sizing requirements should I be aware of before ordering my tattoos?

All tattoos require a 1/8” margin surrounding the design for accurate cutting.  For example if you order a 2” X 2” tattoo the actual image area that we will be able to use will be 1.75” X 1.75”.  Also remember that a rectangular image will not fit on a square tattoo!

How do I submit artwork?

You may click on the “Forward Artwork” button on the order form or e-mail artwork to sales@ruderhino.com.

Can I see my tattoo before it is produced?

Yes.  We will send you a proof prior to printing for final approval.

Can I submit a photograph for a tattoo?

Yes.  Photographs make excellent temporary tattoos as long as the image is clear and not too dark.  Photographic tattoos may need the optional white behind the light or white areas to obtain the desired effect.  You must indicate where the photograph should be cropped.

Do you sell custom tattoos of trademarked character/logos?

Yes, as long as you are the trademark owner or have a license to reproduce the trademarked design as a temporary tattoo.  You will have to send us a copy of the license agreement if you are not the trademark owner.
